 Many people have asked about the origin of the name Namira. The word carries multiple definitions and cultural roots, with its most recognized meaning in Arabic: “tiger” or “leopard,” a symbol of strength and grace. Although our family heritage is Irish-Italian, the meaning of Namira resonated deeply with us. A love for tigers has always held a special place in our family—an admiration passed down from Brigette’s father, an entrepreneur and avid sailor who named his boats after tigers. This legacy of strength, creativity, and resilience lives on through Namira Entertainment Media, a second-generation family business proudly carrying that spirit into the future!
